About Us

Nancy Ruben and her daughter Vanessa Kotovich  have both come from experienced equestrian backgrounds. They have cared for horses for over 30 years having knowledge in retired, performance, pleasure, rescued, foals, and pregnant horses. Through their time spent in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, and Vermont they have had the opportunity to be exposed to different stables, disciplines, and events. They have both worked with high level horses and facilities in presentation, event operations, and overall care. Being live on premiss managers they have a great knowledge and experience in horse illnesses and symptoms along with experience working with vets and farriers. Through owning and starting Greenmont Farm in Hinesburg, VT for over 10 years they have become well attuned with local quality hayers, grain/ sawdust suppliers, other stables, and events. Since Vanessa was 6 yrs old she has had my own horses learning to properly communicate and train them with ground manners, some liberty, and under saddle. Vanessa has worked at Country Cedars Farm which gave her insight into different systems, efficiency, and the value of barn care and cleanliness. Nancy .... to be continued.
